Lifestyle & Charity FAB Event

During NY Fashion Week, I also attended the Lifestyle & Charity Magazine/Time Out NY [F]ashion [A]rt [B]eauty event. Indeed there was fashion, art, and beauty. Guests enjoyed drinks, snacks, live music, massages, and beauty makeovers. Not only that, we were able to view designs on models posing on the main floor and up the stairs.

There were even two illustrators that did portraits of the guests.

Apparently, this is what I look like in illustration form! His watercolor skills are amazing, and he did this in a matter of minutes:

victorian naturalist

*

I love old Victorian illustrations...their attention to details... And they always make me think about adventurous explorers discovering new species! Such wonderful times...now it seems there's not much left to discover.... :P

And while searching for these illustrations I found this wonderful shop - stellanova jewelry - inspired by the etchings of Victorian naturalists. Enjoy!
