Paper Magazine + Giambattista Valli event

Last week on Wednesday Oct 26, I attended Paper Magazine's event/party for Giambattista Valli in celebration for the launch of his collection for Impulse Macy's. Models Jessica Stam, Chanel Iman, and Hana Ben Abdesslem were present in addition to a few members of the press as well as others in the fashion industry.
Here are just some shots of the gorgeous (and affordable!) collection, taken by my friend Pranesh Barua - who also helped me out during NY Fashion Week. (By the way, if anyone is looking for a fashion photographer, Pranesh is definitely interested & you can email him at pbarua00ccny@gmail.com)

It was a great evening of socializing, networking, and shopping. Special guest DJ Harley Vera-Newton was there spinning tracks while appetizers & drinks were being passed around. Even Olivia Palermo made an appearance!
I had the lovely opportunity of mingling a bit with editorial director of Paper Magazine, Mickey Boardman and designer Giambattista Valli! Such fabulous men!

Paper Magazine Event

The other night, I attended Paper Magazine's "Sounds Like Paper" event. Held at the House of Vans in Brooklyn, guests enjoyed free Corona beers & Ben&Jerry's ice cream. An amazing DJ pumped up the crowd while everyone was socializing and/or catching up. I brought my friend Tanuka with me, and we decided to hang out on the skateboard ramps after walking around the venue for awhile.

On this hot summer night, things got even more heated up when Joe Jonas and Swizz Beatz took the stage performing some of their main hits.

Joe Jonas; thought it was a cool blurry photo

Unfortunately, I was busy eating ice cream when Swizz Beatz got on stage so I didn't catch any photos or videos - but I also left early so I didn't stay until the event ended. From what I saw, he definitely rocked the night too.

I did, however, get a couple of videos of Joe Jonas performing "Just in Love with You" (my fave of the night) and his new single "See No More", respectively.
