#5. an old picture of myself
That was me during the days when I was in high school (which is about 3-4 years ago). I wore gray contacts all the time, and now I only wear them for special occasions. (Only because the brand I typically use is getting discontinued, so I'm searching for a replacement brand.)

Blue is still my favorite color, and I wish I could get my hair like that again, haha.

However, I have gone through many, many looks!

I've had my hair dyed a lighter brown. My natural hair color is a very dark brown, but I have also dyed my hair jet black. I've chopped it all off once and had short hair for awhile, and yes I've also had leopard spots self-dyed in my hair - I didn't want extensions, so I did it to my real hair. (See? Got 'em years before Snooki, haha!)

Oh, those MySpace days when all we did was take pictures of ourselves!

4. a picture of something that makes me happy
I seem to gush every time I see a french bulldog walking down the street. They are soooo cute! I think these pictures are pretty much self explanatory why they make me happy. :)

Oh, and below is a super cute video of a french bulldog that can't seem to roll over. So adorable!

2. a picture of myself
You may recognize the first photo of myself in my About Me section of my blog. This is a pretty old photo - taken about a year ago on my Blackberry. I don't take many photos of myself as often as I used to. Yes, those are gray contacts, haha.
Below, is one of the photos that would have been used in an advertisement for my school in all NYC transit. I auditioned for the model casting, since they were looking for students and staff to star in our ad campaign. I thought it would be fun - we had to represent our slogan, "LIM College: Where Business Meets Fashion". First round, we met with some of the people running the campaign - we filled out a form & they gave us feedback on our look. I made the call back, which resulted in the actual photo shoot. However, if you're in NY, obviously I didn't make the final cut. There were so many other great shots from other students & staff, but they ended up only choosing 6 people. So here it is on my blog instead :)Below, are some of the actual ads that some of you may have seen already on the subway trains. (click images to enlarge)

Krysten from After I Do discovered Storytelling in 30 Photos from SrslyLiz, and I thought it would be fun to do as well :) Although, for a couple of the things like "11. a person i can tell everything to and 19. someone who is always there", I can pretty much picture the same person. So I've meshed together some of those & added a couple of new ones. Going to try to post this every Wednesday!

Okay, first up:
1. someone i spend a lot of time with
I spend a lot of time with my lovely boyfriend, Andres. It may sound cheesy but he is my best friend; I'm free and comfortable to be truly myself around him. Some of my best memories are with him :) (We've been dating for about 2 years and 5 months now.) Above, is one of my favorite pictures of him. It was taken about two summers ago at one of the docks at South Street Seaport - one of my favorite places to be in the summer here in New York City.
