Remember to stop by the Jane by Design Facebook wall & leave a comment stating who inspires your style (a relative, celebrity, blogger, etc.) & make sure you also mention that Audrey Allure sent you! It would help me with the ABC Family/Jane by Design Style Challenge! Not only that, if you help me win, I will be able to choose one of YOU to be featured on ABC Family's Trendsetter of the Week!! :)

Until then, stay tuned for Challenge #3 which I may receive today so hopefully I make it. I also want to thank you for the support so far!

Love always,

Anastasia Lip Gloss

I was sent this Hydra-Full Lip Gloss in Flamingo from Anastasia. It's clinically tested to help maximize and maintain lip hydration and fullness. Especially with winter coming up, it's a great product to keep your lips soft & luscious. This lip gloss comes in 7 other shades, but I chose the Flamingo one because it was the most natural for my lips, and I just get the lovely gloss effect.

What's different about it is that it has a silicon flat/spatula applicator. It's an easy way to apply without worrying about the extra gloss we usually wipe off the top before we put it to our lips. In my personal experience, what ever you pull out of the tube is sufficient enough to swipe. It's a handy applier to use for other lip glosses/products since it's easy to clean.
Anastasia has been the definitive eye and brow expert for icons such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah in addition to Diana Agron, Selena Gomez, and Kristen Cavalari. In addition, the company has been recently added to all Sephora stores in the US.

Anastasia also offers this great brow kit for both blondes & brunettes. Below is a great tutorial video about the product:

What's my normal makeup routine?

Last week I got an email from a reader named Sandy who wanted to know if I ever did "face of the day" posts. She said she was curious what I used on my face everyday. Ask and you shall receive! ;)
First I start off with my serums (SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel and Pevonia eye gel), lotion (Lumene Vitamin C+), boost-it, and primer (Smashbox photo finish). Yes, I put all of this on first! The boost-it and primer help out to smooth my lines and make my face photo ready. I seriously love both!

Next up I apply base to my eye lids (MAC Painterly paint pot)and cover up (Almay Medium 300) under my eyes.

I use just a dab of Nars on my cheek bones, and down my nose. (anywhere you want light to pick up! I even put it on my shoulders and color bone sometimes depending on the outfit).

Here are my normal "everyday" MAC pallet. I also have one full of bolder colors, but I don't use it as much. I generally use a light color all over, the cream under my brow and the inside of my eye for highlight, a light brown or pink color for the top of my lid, and the darkest brown/purple for my crease. My favorite colors are MAC naked lunch for all over lids, All that glitters and wood winked for lids, mulch and antiqued for crease, and nylon for under brow and inside of eye.

I use MAC fluid line (in black track) for eyeliner and apply it with a brush. I then finish off my eyes with Dior mascara.

I sometimes put blush (MAC Blossoming or Covergirl & Olay simply ageless 230) on depending on how tan I am and how much color I want to put on. (If I'm wearing a red lip, I tend to just go with NARS on my cheeks and skip the blush)

Finally, I do the lips! I have WAY too many current favorite lip colors, so this is going to have to be a post of it's own! ;) Lip post coming next week!
