I bought my first ever Groupon. Thanks to my sister-in-law passing over the information to me, I was able to get 2 pieces of jewelmint jewelry for the price of 1. I love my new necklace and bracelet!
I also loved my dinner out with the hubs. He took me to a swanky restaurant and then out for some retail therapy. Yes, my husband loves to shop as much as I do! Okay, maybe not as much, but he's smart enough to know happy wife happy life! lol

Update: Sadly (but good for you), this dress no longer fits (i'm down some more weight, and plan to keep it off ;) and it is for sale in my "shop my closet" section!

Tasty Thursdays: Mango Blueberry Slush

Craving some blueberries and a slushie this week, I found this recipe for a Mango Blueberry Slush from BitchinKitchen.

Ingredients:
½ cup frozen blueberries
½ cup frozen mango chunks
¼ cups crushed ice
2 ounces of lemon juice

For an adult version, you can add in 1 ounce of rum.
Directions:
In a blender, pour in water, lemon juice, [rum], crushed ice, and finally, your frozen fruits. Blend until smooth. Serve.

Primary Colors - FTF Blog Event 6/8

For this month's Full Time Fabulous blog event, we had to form our post around a spring/summer trend. I incorporated about 3 of them into my outfit.

I attempted color blocking with bright colors with my bright blue skinny jeans, golden yellow top, and red clutch/wallet. Feathers have been everywhere as well, and so I wore my white feather earrings. Lastly, I love lace - all year round! I just layered my white lace tank top over my yellow one, and I completed my look with nude booties.

I am so in love with the color combo of red and turquoise! They go great as accents with black, white, cream, tan, gray, pretty much any neutral color! I also LOVE this ring! I found it at JC Penny in the MNG by Mango section. Amazing right? Sorry for no full body shot. Only one turned out and the color was off and my feet were cut off! lol What can you do?! ;)
