As I was consuming my nasi lemak the other morning, I noticed that there was a very steady line of people queuing up for the prawn noodles next to it, and I was intrigued enough to try one myself.
Most of us are probably acquainted with Adam Road Prawn Mee and its big prawns and lobster offerings, and this little modest prawn noodle stall is just a delightful find to add to the illustrious roll of prawn noodle greats here.

I ordered the dry noodle that will typically serve the soup in a side bowl. The noodles are quite standard and well cooked, not too hard and just tender enough to go with the prawn and tomato sauce. For some reason, I did not ask for the chilli paste to be included.
As you can see from the photo, the pork and fishcake slices are quite generous. The prawns themselves are quite large and tender and overall, it was quite a nice balance and very light. One thing I realise is that there is very little MSG added, which is something I always complain about the Adam Road one.
The soup was slightly light as again, very little artificial flavoring was used, but this is what I like about this bowl. Very easy on the tongue, and although less flavorsome in a way, it is a good way to start a morning with this simple breakfast dish.
