Candy Store Giveaway!

Happy Independence Day!!! Candy Store just recently launched their Flavor of the Month color -- Red, White, and Blueberry! So cute, right? It's the perfect accessory for celebrating today.

Candy Store is a cool silicone accessories company that make cosmetic pouches, coin purses, wallets, and more. Their products are incredibly practical & stylish; they're even stain, tear, and fade-resistant.

Well, I have teamed up with the company to giveaway a set of 8 (that's right, EIGHT) cosmetic pouches in the 8 beautiful colors to one lucky winner: licorice, lemon, apple, bubble gum, cherry, grape, orange, and peppermint. Ann Taylor Holiday 2012

Inspired by the movie, Charade, starring Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, the Ann Taylor Holiday 2012 collection was absolutely colorful and chic. My favorite pieces were definitely the jewelry!

gla.MAR.ous

I recently received this gorgeous headband from gla.MAR.ous from the newest collection. I loved the blue & gold combo with the touch of shine from the sequins. What's great about the zipper headbands in this collection is that it can be worn in 7 different ways!

To be honest, I was never a headband type of girl. I would always end up taking it off because it hurt or kept falling off. These headbands have adjustable straps which definitely makes a big difference! So anyway, the challenge was to see how I would style this particular piece. I recently wore it simply while hanging out at my boyfriend's house with a simple summer top and cardigan -- but I can definitely see myself edging it up with a leather jacket for a future time.

Run Run Run Bags

I recently received these cute eco bags from Run Run Run. I received the Aspen Lunch Tote and the Italia Shopper. Run Run Run offers a variety of shoppers, lunch bags, totes, and electronic accessories that are all environmentally friendly and convenient for traveling efficiently.

The bags are made of waterproof and they all fold up into a small sizes. It has double stitching so they're also very durable.An interesting fact: their bags are named and celebrated after places that ban plastic bags.

Run Run Run donates a percentage of its sales to organizations that are committed to these ideals and in improving the quality of living on our planet. This includes the Surfrider Foundation, the Plastic Pollution Coalition and 1% for the Planet.

Cameo PR Press Preview 2012

This past week, I attended the Cameo PR Press Preview. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay very long so I didn't get a chance to get good photos personally. Thank goodness, Cameo PR distributed USBs with all the line sheets! Included in this post are my absolute favorite pieces from some of their clients.

I'm loving the pastels and jewel tone colors of these gorgeous rocks in pendant and bracelet forms from Alexandra Beth. Loving the braided details as well.

Definitely seeing an art deco theme with Celeb Boutque's necklaces and cuff below, but they keep it edgy with some fierce jackets.

Colour Me has an amazing array of accessories is various colors, but below I'm loving the more elegant, toned down pieces - especially that white watch!

These artsy clutches from LaLucca are stunning - I'm loving the prints. I want them all!

Raffine always manages to offer such elegant pieces. Adoring that white cocktail ring, collar, and pairs of earrings.

Accessoir

Last week, I visited my friend Auria's showroom for her handbag collection, Figaro by Accessoir. She is a true entrepreneur, bravely coming to the US with almost nothing, enrolled at FIT for Accessories Design, and building her own empire from scratch. Even today, she handles everything on her own - marketing, pitching, selling, accounting, etc. with some help from her fiance.

She designs for all types of women, and best of all, her bags are within the lower price point so it's affordable for all! Her bags also have signature star lining. You can see her bags in some stores like Strawberry, It's Fashion, Ross stores and other small boutique shops. She even gifted me this gorgeous colorblock clutch - the quality is exquisite, and I love clutches with a handle! Check out her Facebook page for daily updates & her website here :)

Kenneth Cole/Project Accessory Event

Last night after work, I attended an event at Kenneth Cole. Project Accessory (spinoff of Project Runway) winner, Brian Burkhardt, debuted his unicorn collection exclusively for Kenneth Cole. Host of Project Accessory and named one of the ten most stylish women in Vogue, Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti was also present.

Later on, some of the contestants of Project Accessory arrived as well as Kenneth Cole himself.

If you've watched the show, you might remember that beautiful horn handle created by Brian!

All of the profits from the collection will be donated to AWEARNESS, The Kenneth Cole Foundation, in support of amFAR.
