This Weeks "I Want What She Has!"

target dressshoedazzle
This weeks first "I want what she has!" goes to Michelle Kuhlemeier. I am loving this entire look!
Dress: $24.99 Target
Bag: $39.95 Shoedazzle
Head to toe perfection Michelle! I really love your hair, sunnies, and shoes too! I looked at her and literally thought to myself, I want what she has! lol

bracelet
This weeks second "I want what she has!" goes to Karen Javens. I am gushing over this bracelet!
Bracelet: price and store unknown ;(
She was given this bracelet as a holiday gift at her old job. I think it looks like a Judith Jack design. Either way, it's beautiful and I want it! lol Anyone think they know where this is from?

A "made for you" dress

I was recently contacted by eShakti and given a product sample to review. eShakti.com is an online store that allows custom changes in the style of your garment (ie. sleeve, neckline, length). "Shakti means power in Sanskrit. eShakti therefore means the power of the Net. We believe the Internet empowers customers and helps companies be customer-centered."
After searching around the site I decided on the Banded waist cotton poplin dress. Then I was able to alter the dress to my taste! I took the length up a bit and sent in my measurements. Here is the finished product:

Dress: c/o eShakti, Blazer: Urban Outfitters, Earrings: Jewelmint, Bangle: c/oKristin Hassan, Shoes: Jessica Simpson, Tights: Target, Broach: Express, Ring: Judith Jack

eShakti ships to US and Canada and all custom orders go out within 3 business days! I've got to say, I'm a fan. I also love the prices as most products range from $49 to $90.
I wore my new red dress to my first of 5 Christmas parties. It was perfect! Just the right length for toting the kids around and bending to do presents. Truth be told I felt a little like I belonged on the Mad Men set this day ;)

**Starting tomorrow there will be 2 posts a day leading up to Christmas (1st at 7:00am and 2nd at 5:00pm). I am having a bit of a cookie week again this year and have lots of yummy treats to post.

Sweater, Leggings, Clutch, and Wedges: Express, Tank: Target, Necklace: Self made, Chain ring: Tiffanys & CO, Ring: Judith Jack
I feel like an Express mannequin. ;) The sweater and wedges are from this year, the leggings are from last year, and the clutch was from 3 years ago. I guess Express consistently makes me happy!
I met up with a fellow Chicago blogger Mariposa from Clever Clipper on Tuesday night. I had such a fun time!! It's cool to make new friends at this stage of my life, and lets be honest, you can never have too many great people in your life!
Mariposa and myself (and a few other ladies) have very exciting things happening next week. More info on that tomorrow..... yes, I am keeping you in suspense.. ;)

Loving Cropped sweaters

Sweater: MNG by Mango (last season), Jeans: E street Denim, Earrings: Jewelmint, Shoes: Express Stone Ring: Vintage, Ring: Judith Jack

For a long time tunics and longer t's, knits, and tops were in but last season entered crop tops (I should say they came back into rotation since the 90's). My initial reaction was HELL NO! lol I'm not the belly shirt kind of a girl (I mean come on, I have 2 kids!;). Lately I'm loving them. As long as you are wearing a higher rise jean and don't put your arms over your head too much, I think they are perfect.
I paired my crop sweater with my dark wash jeans, threw my hair in a bun, and put some amazing earrings on! It's wonderful how a dark lip, some eyeliner, and earrings jazz a very simple look up! ;)

Dress: Express
Blazer: Urban Outfitters
Clutch: Express (years ago)
Shoes: BCBG
Necklace and earrings: Baublebar
Ring: Judith Jack
Chain Ring: Tiffany & CO
Belt: Urban Outfitters

My character, Tanya Tease, was the personal assistant to the millionaire who was murdered. We were all asked to show up between 6:00pm and 6:30pm for the reading of his will.
This party was amazing! The food, the signature cotton candy flavored martinis, the outfits everyone wore, and most importantly, the amount of fun everyone had! Such a great night out! Here are some pictures from the night:

I had never been to a party like this before! We had fake money to bribe and blackmail people with and objectives that needed to be met throughout the night. There was also another murder while we were there. By the end there were prizes for best dressed, most money, and most dramatic! Like I said so fun! Happy Birthday Kristin, your party was amazing!!
