As you know,
Lucky Magazine had their annual
Lucky Shops event this past weekend (today is the last day, btw!) Dozens of designer collections were up for grabs up to 70% off. I had the most incredible experience being one of the VIP blogger correspondents of the night!
We all met at the
Bloom Beauty Lounge to get blowouts & styling for our hair while we mingled & snacked :) I went for some curls - y'know to add some volume from my thin Asian hair lol. Thanks to Jackie's magic, she created a luscious look for me and I absolutely loved how my hair turned out. We also took a bunch of group shots -- when I get my hands on those, I'll repost them on my Twitter or Facebook pages!
I had the wonderful opportunity & luck to be paired up with
Rachel Roy (the other bloggers each had a different designer to wear that night). I chose the mulberry sequined Liza dress, paired it with the Kimi black multi heel, and completed my outfit with the multi-wing doorknocker earrings & the cluster statement frontal necklace. I just added my gloves from H&M & oversized clutch from Barney's.
It just so happened that as we walked in through those Lucky Shops doors, Rachel Roy was on the red carpet! I was instantly escorted to take a photo with her :)
After some walking around the venue, with my date Andres, it was time for me to walk the carpet. I have no idea where those pics are going to be posted yet, but here are some that my boyfriend took with my camera.
I didn't do much shopping. Unfortunately, time goes by so fast when you're too busy mingling lol. But I did walk around & of course, I stopped at
Geren Ford! The pieces are always functional, accessibly-priced, and modern. The collection was full of cute, versatile, feminine pieces. I mean, how adorable is that blue dress below?

My favorites on the Oscars Red Carpet were Milla Jovovich in Elie Saab and Kate Mara in Jack Guisso.
As for worst dressed, I didn't find any look that looked too revolting, though there were some questionable styling choices.
