Anticipation for Lucky Shops!

I recently was asked to be one of the blogger correspondents for Lucky Magazine's Lucky Shops VIP night on the red carpet!! So stay tuned for more exclusives ;)

Some of you may know that Lucky Magazine hosts this amazing event every year, where shoppers can shop from dozens of designers at spectacular prices (up to 70% off designer prices!).

This year, it will be held on November 4-6, and for the first time, it will be held at the Highline Stages. (It previously has been held at the Metropolitan Pavillion). You can buy tickets now on the website, ranging in prices from about $16-$150, depending on whether you'd like general admission or to attend the VIP charity shopping party. Use promo code audreyallure to get a 15% discount of tickets!!
Just to give you a sneak peek, let me introduce you to designer Michael Spirito. He's a NYC jewelry designer that celebrities such as Cher, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Beyonce, etc. have worn pieces from. His jewelry are all handcrafted from sketch to setting of the stones & polishing. Those gorgeous beaded duster earrings above retails for $150, but Lucky Shops price is $90!

Some other pieces: The Flora Bouquet Gold Ring - Retail: $210 Lucky Shops: $85
Double Skulls Bands in Gold - Retail: $185 Lucky Shops: $75
Cage Spear Earrings - Retail: $275 Lucky Shops: $135
Also, here's an exclusive Q&A with Michael Spirito!
Where’s your go-to spot for post-Lucky Shops nibbles and cocktails?
I still love Morimoto in the Meat Packing district. Perfect sushi, awesome appetizers and icy clean design.

What do you think your most-wanted piece at Lucky Shops will be?
My ‘Spear Cage’ earrings (last image). They’ve been worn by everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Miley Cyrus in the past month and I can’t make them fast enough.

What’s your color palette this season?
Blackened silver & bright gold – often mixed, combined with rich earthy jewel tones.
Who is your ultimate New York City fashion icon?
Lady Gaga – a born & raised NYC native.

What’s your advice for fashion-obsessed shoppers looking for a deal?
Stop looking. Pick out the one thing you cannot live without, pay retail, and work that piece from the beginning of the season til the end.
