I had the most wonderful time at the Chicago Blogger Network Rad and Refined summer launch party event over the weekend. This is what I wore:

There was shopping to be done, drinks to be had, food to be eaten, and photos to be taken! I had my eye on a maxi dress all night and could not stop coming back to it! I'm so predicable. lol

I was so happy my hubby came with me (he got a glimpse of my world), I hope I didn't make too big of a fool of myself as I am a super fan of both Natalie and Dylana, and I am beyond pumped at the new maxi dress I bought! Obviously you will be seeing it soon on the blog! And obviously I needed another maxi dress. No, seriously I did! ;)

I am LOVING my Athena Tracery Necklace for the Passport To Style Athens collection! I can't believe there are only 2 days left to shop this collection (today and tomorrow people, so hurry and shop before it's gone for good!).
I felt Grecian chic and finished the look off with french braid that I pined into a circle in the back of my head. Thoughts? It was super easy so I'm probably going to be a repeat offender on this one.

Outfit: Autism One- Day 1 of 3

I attended Autism One this year thanks to the persuasion of Nicolette of Momnivore's Dilemma. Here is what I wore to day 1:

She told me in advance how overwhelming it would be, but I thought she meant overwhelming like a lot of info to take in, lots of vendors, etc. It was overwhelming emotionally and mentally as well (which I was NOT prepared for) and I cried after leaving the first day.

I guess I thought I was doing a good job(ish) by my son so far. I know we haven't gone full on bio medical yet, but I guess I didn't realize how far away I was from it either.

Needless to say I had a mild panic attack while sitting in a lecture called "What's Next? Exploring your options by Anju Usman, MD. I literally left the room with my notes full of words I needed to go home and look up! I felt guilty, I felt under prepared, I felt like I needed to make changes...NOW!  I immediately went and bought new vitamins and probiotics. It did make me feel a bit better. ;)

Here is yet another example of everyday wear. On this day I had tons of errands to run and jeans and a tee was all I had time for. Yes folks, I went out with absolutely NO makeup! (seriously! lol) So unlike me, but what can I say, I'm a busy girl. ;)

In other news I am OBSESSED with my new belt from express! I think belts can be great accessories so I was super excited when I saw this turquoise one. What's your favorite accessory to jazz up jeans and a tee?

How amazing is this top? I just love Daniel Rainn. I sold one of my favorite tops of his because it no longer fit me. Obviously I was sad that I couldn't find it again to replace it.
When I received this blouse in my box from ThirtySomethingFashion I was BEYOND excited! It's great for everyday wear or a night out on the town.
I wore this outfit for errands, family time, and well, a normal day! What do you think? I am a big fan of denim paired with flats and a blouse. Simple, chic, and super easy to wear from day to night!

Myself and Kaitlyn had a mini photo shoot over the weekend. We saw an amazing picture over on Pinterest and knew we wanted to recreate it for a stock photo to be used on our new website. Here is what I wore:

Newly Remodeled Mario Tricoci (Schaumburg Location)

 I was invited to the ribbon cutting event for the newly remodeled Schaumburg location of Mario Tricoci. Anyone who knows me, knows I love Mario Tricoci! I get my colored and hair cut there, I get my eyebrows waxed there, I get massages and facials there, bottom line, they are my go to when I want to get my pamper on. So obviously I was super excited to meet Mario Tricoci! ;) Here is what I wore to the event:

This location has been open for 19 years now and looks even more amazing! I didn't take pictures in the spa area because I felt rude (everyone knows to be quite in there! lol) but I did see a demo for the diamond tip microdurmabrasion. Yeah, mama wants one of those badly! Next up, enter a raffle and get my spa on! I was given a complementary wash, blow out, and curling, a bamboo infused massage and my mother-in-law got her nails done. So fun!


The salon and spa look amazing and I was happy to be included in such a fun morning!

If we are being honest, I ditched the shoes and wore my slippers most of the night! Great times, great food (if I do say so myself;), well behaved kids, and great friends. What more do you need?!

I need a tan. Badly. Problem is, I don't fake n bake and if I use lotions or spray tan on this base (or lack there of) I'll just turn orange. Any suggestions? Otherwise, I'll need to start wearing tight or hosiery at all times! ;)
Now lets talk hair. When I got my hair cut, my color from 5 months ago showed up more. I got lots of highlights under so I'd have some peeking through. Well now I've got a case of 2 toned hair. Love, hate? I'm torn...

I want to start out by saying shame on me! I was given these amazing blue suede shoes for Christmas last year, and this is the first time I have worn them (I'm so sorry Kaitlyn!).
I love them! I was going through my shoe boxes and came across these at the bottom of my pile. SCORE!
This is what I wore to meet up with some friends for pizza night. I can't believe how well behaved our kids were this night so myself and the hubs had a great time catching up with our friends from out of town. What more can what out of life? Great friends, well behaved children, and great shoes! ;)
