Myself and Kaitlyn had a mini photo shoot over the weekend. We saw an amazing picture over on Pinterest and knew we wanted to recreate it for a stock photo to be used on our new website. Here is what I wore:

Blue Suede Shoes

I want to start out by saying shame on me! I was given these amazing blue suede shoes for Christmas last year, and this is the first time I have worn them (I'm so sorry Kaitlyn!).
I love them! I was going through my shoe boxes and came across these at the bottom of my pile. SCORE!
This is what I wore to meet up with some friends for pizza night. I can't believe how well behaved our kids were this night so myself and the hubs had a great time catching up with our friends from out of town. What more can what out of life? Great friends, well behaved children, and great shoes! ;)

I was in the city on Saturday night and this was what I wore. We met up with 3 other couples and had some yummy eats, saw a stand up comedy show, and then got bottle service at Y Bar. The night was beyond fun!
I decided to be brand loyal this night. My jewelry was all Jewelmint, my clothes Urban Outfitters, and accessories Forever 21.
I just love how sparkles look with animal print! Maybe I just love the idea of mixing 2 things that wouldn't seem normal to put together.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! One of the best parts of having a large family is all the eating we do over the holiday season. ;) This is what I wore to our 1st of 3 Thanksgivings celebrations. I went with a loose blouse and jeans so I could eat until my little heart was content. And I did just that!
Here's what my mom cooked for us:

Italian stuffing (spinish, rice, ground beef, cheese, onion) sweet potatos, bread stuffing, turkey, and rolls. She also made home made cranberry sauce, regular mashed potatos but that was round 2 and by then my camera was away! ;)

I can't believe I haven't worn this top yet! Since I have lots of plans to layer up over it, I decided to wear the sheer top as is for a day. I probably should have worn a tank under, but I was in a bandeau kind of a mood. ;)
I just love the lace detail at the neck and on the back of the arms. I felt retro and playful all at the same time. LOVE!

okay, now back to the Lucky Boys show. I went down to UofI on Friday night to see my hubby's band play. The show was so fun and I got to hang out with the lovely Abby so it made my night even better! What do you guys think of this outfit? I really loved the pattern mixing of the short and tights but I kept it all black at the same time. I also found myself OBSESSED with this ring. I love this little lace top! You can put it over anything and everything and make a new outfit! This day I wore it over a staple dress in my wardrobe and my hubby was all, I love this new dress! lol Same dress boo, new look!

This was a bitter sweet day for me. I had to say goodbye to a truly great friend of mine as her and her husband are moving out of the country. Please do not be fooled I am wearing no makeup and sunnys because I was a big cry baby! ;) I was all sorts of out of wack that day and decided to pair paper bag style shorts with a flowy top?! Looking back it was not my best choice, but I was sad so this is what you get! lol
On the up side Katrina brought over 2 garbage bags filled with clothes and a few other bags filled with jewelry, accessories, and makeup that she didn't want to take with her. I gladly took it off her hands!

Las Vegas! Day 1 outfit 2

How amazing is this dress?! I got it a while back before I knew I was going to Vegas, so I was super excited I was finally going to be able to wear it! I love how it's longer in the back. So fun! I also was feeling nostalgic and brought some of the same jewelry I wore last time we went to Vegas (back in Jan. 2010) and also wanted to visit some of our favorite places. Ryan talked me into going to a steak house this night, but it worked out great because they had some of the best seafood I've ever eaten! I'm a sucker for anyplace that serves sushi or fish and veggies!

In other news, how handsome is my hubby?! I'm a lucky lady!

Okay, so I just had a baby 6 months ago and I was terrified to wear this one! However, I was pleasantly surprised how great it fit! (don't be to fooled, I was wearing my spanks!)
I must admit, I loved this look! Not bad for a 32 year old mother of 2 huh?! lol
I'm DYING to spill the beans on what all of this was for, but it's just not close enough to launch date yet! All in due time! I promise it will all be worth the wait!

Okay, so up until Tuesday I had NEVER heard of Urbanog.com! I was venting on my Facebook page that Modcloth was out of every dress that I wanted and Chelsea Harmon (a Stilettos and Diaper Bags reader) told me to check out lulus.com and urbanog.com. Now I love Lulus! That beautiful cobalt blue dress of mine is from there, but I had never heard of the other site and she said it has a lot of similar items as Modcloth and for cheaper. You have my attention Chelsea!!!! So naturally I clicked on through.
It's wonderful! I ordered 2 skirts and 2 pair of sandals (and spent under $75)! I'm so excited I found out about this site I had to share it with you!!!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. They really do have some great items for even better prices!!
