What's in my bag?!

I always love reading every one's "what's in my bag" posts, so I decided it's high time I did my own! I don't generally carry that much around as it bothers my neck (shout out 2 cervical fusions! lol) but these were the items I found when I emptied out my bag:

First off, yayayay, found my lense cover! ;)

-comb (for my bangs)

So that's it. Riveting huh?! ;) I generally ditch the big wallet and throw my ID and debit card in my bag when I go out. (why risk losing all your stuff?!) I ALWAYS have the wipes and comb on me as it is a bangs trick I've talked about in a past post. Also, I always make sure I have a few lip color choices on me at all times. A girl can always change her mind you know...

My New Bags

The hubby treated me to bags for my b-day this year. Let me explain, he said here is X number of dollars and buy yourself bags. Okay, I can work with this! In fact, I love this idea of buying what I want!
I knew I wanted to shop at Piperlime because they sent me a $30 b-day gift card. My first find was this new Kate Spade case for my IPad:

It is $50 so after my gift card I had only used $20 of my b-day bag money. Up next I wanted to find a wallet/small clutch. I have way too many items I carry in my wallet so I was due for a new one. I got this beautiful floral Fossil one:

Beautiful right?! I love it! Since I was on a bit of a Fossil kick I found this amazing crossbody bag in mint and knew right away it had to be mine!

I just adore all the gold hardware. I also love how the inside of the strap is canvas. SWOON. I am so happy with my new bags! My hubby knows me well enough to know I always love being told what to shop for. Plus I've been lusting over bags lately so I kinda got my fix. It was a win win!

Bag Mania

Has anyone else been turning heads at the amount of amazing bags that are around right now?! I am usually a jewelry girl, but lately I want every bag I see (so unlike me). I love these burgundy plazzo pants. I decided to keep everything in the colors of wine this day as I paired them with a blush shoe, cream top, pink blazer, rose gold ring, and maroon lip. I felt very ready for a meeting but I was actually going on a date. At dinner I ditched the blazer and it felt more dinner appropriate. ;)
My hair was super easy. I braided pig tails and then secured them on top of my head. Took all of 5 mins and I actually had 4 different girls come up to me and ask what I had done.
After dinner the hubs and I went shopping. The only person who LOVES to shop as much as me is Ryan. Just another thing to add to the list of what I love about him! ;) While shopping I FINALLY found my second coat! (I've been looking for a second coat since Sept!) More on that coming soon....

It's getting darn cold out her in the Chicago suburbs. Time for layers!! Last time I wore this vest, I wore it as a jacket. This time, I needed to add a thin jacket to it.
I had lots of errands to run and this look did the trick on this 45 degree day. I layered a top, the faux fur vest, and a jean jacket on top and paired them with my green cargo pants. It was such a simple outfit, but it felt chic and put together even though I was out the door in 10 mins flat!

This is my favorite time of year! I love when you can wear sweaters with no coats and how cute are my new boots?! I am selling my old crop boots in "shop my shoes" because I wanted a pair that had buckles and now a year later I found a pair!!! I guess good things do come to those who wait. ;)
I paired my over sized sweater with a pair of skinny jeans and a few pieces of gold jewelry. This look was perfect for taking the little man to school, running errands, and later that day having dinner with my family for Ry's grandma's 82nd b-day!

okay, now back to the Lucky Boys show. I went down to UofI on Friday night to see my hubby's band play. The show was so fun and I got to hang out with the lovely Abby so it made my night even better! What do you guys think of this outfit? I really loved the pattern mixing of the short and tights but I kept it all black at the same time. I also found myself OBSESSED with this ring. I got so many compliments on it and I was playing around with it all night. Hope you love it as much as I do!

Is it just me, or does everyone wish they were a ballerina?! lol I took ballet as a little lady, but quickly switched over to gymnastics because I had way too much energy and needed to do more running! Ah, what can you do?!
This skirt is so beautiful and I decided it was channelling a ballerina look. I loved how it turned out. I wanted to twirl and spin all night long. In fact, I did!

In other news, it's official....I now weigh what I did before my second child! Woo hoo!!! I still have 8 more pounds until I'm the size I was before both kids, but I couldn't be more happy! The truth is I have not worked out once! Between my neck injury and life, who has the time?! Chasing 2 kids around and changing to a gluten free diet is workout enough I guess. Oh, and wearing between 3 and 6 in heels everywhere I go doesn't hurt either! ;)
