Honor/4 Corners of a Circle SS 2012 Collections

Honor's SS 2012 collection was very girly, full of peter pan collars, sheer fabrics, and full skirts. Designer, Giovanna Randall, was a drop-out med student who decided to pursue fashion design instead. She has created a lot of buzz for her line already, especially with the A-list stars sitting front row at her shows. The designer was inspired by by a still of 1960s Catherine Deneuve on her wedding day in Vice and Virtue.

Inspired by Akira Kurosawa's movie, Dream, the designer of 4 Corners of a Circle, Natsuko Kanno, expresses the boldness of the Japanese aesthetic sense. Angular shapes and pleated construction in a variety of dynamic colors, reflecting the prominent essence of Japanese costume history give confident feeling. Layered and flattering movement comforts the wearer gracefully. The fabrics are decorated with graphic, carefully placed screen-print work - which is a signature style of 4 Corners of A Circle.
