Who watched the Royal Wedding?! I woke up at 4AM EST to watch this magical event - so many channels to choose from but I settled on NBC w/ the Today show; Kate (oh excuse me, I mean Duchess Catherine) looked divine! But first let me talk about a few of the other guests. It would have been nice if Princess Diana was there. No doubt she would have looked fabulous, but it did seem like she was there in spirit. Victoria Beckham looked stunning and polished especially with that sleek ponytail, and David Beckham looked quite dashing. I love the way he styled his hair - they're definitely one of my favorite stylish couples. Samantha Cameron, the Prime Minister's wife, I believe was in Burberry, although I was surprised she was not wearing a hat! Also, people on Twitter were tweeting about Pippa's gown, also from McQueen. I thought she should have worn it in a different color other than white though, but she did look pretty. Carole Middleton looked lovely in powder blue. And James Middleton! He's actually hotter than I realized!
Kate is beautiful no matter what but she was gorgeous in that Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress. It was very Grace Kelly. For those who know me, you know how much I love sweet heart necklines and laced sleeves -- I'm a little disappointed because I was dreaming of a dress like that for my future wedding, and now there's going to be a million brides-to-be probably going after the same look. Anyway, the style suited her perfectly - it seemed very classy Kate. She also did her own makeup.
I was close to tears when she entered Westminster Abbey because the whole ceremony was so beautiful. Kate wanted it to be like an English Garden, which explains the trees. I wanted to see more flowers but it definitely seemed more modern that way. Apparently, Harry whispered to William, "Wait 'til you see her" as Kate was making her way down the aisle. Then, William was seen telling Kate, "You look beautiful" as she arrived; so sweet!
The balcony kiss was so quick, it was almost a peck. However, they did give us a second kiss (still short, but a second kiss nonetheless). Overall, it truly seemed like I was watching a fairy tale happening live. Congrats to the now Duke & Duchess of Cambridge! (Although they're Prince and Princess in my mind, just because I like those titles better :P .) What were your thoughts on the Royal Wedding?

Review: New Beauty Test Tube
There were a few products in this test tube that I got back in February that I am so sad I am out of! Here are the ones that I highly recommend!
Pevonia Bontanica: Age-Defying Marine Collagen Cream
I am truly sad to be out of this sample! My face is too! I have noticed a difference since I stopped using it! My skin looks dryer not and less shiny. Guess I'm buying this one if the items in the next test tube do not include a great moisturizer!!
Smashbox: Photo Finish Foundation Primer
I do not put makeup on without it! Period! It is amazing and smooths out all lines so no makeup settles into said lines! This is a product I will use forever! LOVE it!
Ahava: Dermud Body Cream
Seriously softest lotion ever. My skin stays moisturized for an extremely long time after applying! Great for winter, elbows, and feet!!!
Can't wait for my next test tube to come. It's already been shipped out. Post coming soon!! ;)

Urbanog.com
Okay, so up until Tuesday I had NEVER heard of Urbanog.com! I was venting on my Facebook page that Modcloth was out of every dress that I wanted and Chelsea Harmon (a Stilettos and Diaper Bags reader) told me to check out lulus.com and urbanog.com. Now I love Lulus! That beautiful cobalt blue dress of mine is from there, but I had never heard of the other site and she said it has a lot of similar items as Modcloth and for cheaper. You have my attention Chelsea!!!! So naturally I clicked on through.
It's wonderful! I ordered 2 skirts and 2 pair of sandals (and spent under $75)! I'm so excited I found out about this site I had to share it with you!!!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. They really do have some great items for even better prices!!
Happy shopping ladies!

Wedding Salon NYC Showcase
Feeding into my Royal Wedding fever, I was invited to attend the Wedding Salon showcase here in NYC held at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Basically it was a place where brides to be can find event planners, entertainment, registries, food/catering, gowns, and many more ideas to help them plan their special days. It was absolutely fabulous, and I enjoyed myself even though I'm not getting married anytime soon.
I brought my friend Tanuka and we visited many booths, met some great people, networked, sampled h'or deurves (there was one that had smoked ham w/ plum chutney on a biscuit & it was heaven!!), cakes & macarons, and took plenty of photos.
Magnolia Photo Booth even allowed guests to take free photobooth photos and they provided fun props such as fake mustaches, big lips, hats, feather boas, etc. Tanuka & I took two sets - one with props, one normal (I haven't had a chance to scan them yet but the image shown below is a photo of the photos.) I went to a wedding where there was a photo booth set up, and guests can take photos & choose one to paste into the guest book - it's a great, creative idea! Another great way to keep those memories was to frame them. Purple Raincoat can beautifully frame photos, invitations, etc. & arrange them aesthetically (a sample is pictured above). It definitely can seem like the perfect snapshot of a wonderful memory.
We also sat down to get our caricatures drawn by Steve Nyman. I thought that they were such a great idea for a wedding as well , and the caricatures itself could be fun party favors - for any party! [click to enlarge photos]
There were displays of beautiful table arrangements and cakes. My favorite table arrangement was definitely the Disney Fairy Tale one; they also gave out these super cute pens! Adorable! And my favorite looking cake was done by Nicolle.
Of course, there were gowns designed by Carolina Herrera, Jaehee Bridal, and The White Gown displayed around the venue. Below are many other pictures from the event [click to enlarge].
So who will be watching the Royal Wedding tomorrow? I will be tweeting as I watch. Join me in the conversation @audreyallure :)

This weeks "I want what she has!"
This weeks "I want what she has!" goes to Michelle McSweeney. I love the entire look. At first all I saw was the amazing belt! Then I was starring at her jeans, then I saw the bracelet, the color of the blouse, LOVED!!
It's so funny, I swear people must think I'm giving them the stink eye half the time and all I'm doing is gushing over items they have styled! And this look was styled flawlessly!
Blouse: $29 (on sale) Loft
Jeans: $35 (on sale) Gap
Belt: $60 Nordstrom
Bracelet: $25 Nordstrom
I was about to go online and order that belt as soon as I got home that night and then she told me she got it years ago (as well as the bracelet). BOOOO! lol Amazing outfit Michelle! Loved it head to toe!

Chop Salad
Here's another one of the wonderful lunches my mom made for me last week. Yes, it is just salad. Who needs a recipe for a salad right?! It seems so simple and obvious, but it's a great meal and I feel everyone should know how to make it! My hubby even eats these because you put whatever you want on them making it your perfect salad!
I also realize these look giant. They were! I ate half for lunch and then the other half the next day.
Ingredients: (most organic)
Romaine Lettuce
Avocado
Bacon
Black olive
Hard boiled eggs
Carrots
Tomatoes
Mushrooms
Cucumber
Candied almonds
and a Hawaiian bread roll for the side
I went with a balsamic vinaigrette but you can use whatever dressing your little heart desires! Eating veggies does not need to be boring! ;)

Easter Sunday
Dress: Agaci
Cardigan: Forever 21
Shoes: DSW
Earrings: ?? Gift
Charm Bracelet, Ring, and Necklace: Tiffanys & CO
After a week of taking it easy, and not wearing anything but sweatpants it was so nice to wear a dress! I love this maxi dress because it is short! By that I mean I don't have to wear heels with it. (Most of my maxi dresses require 3-5 inch heels so I don't trip over the material.)
We had Easter in the morning with my hubby's side of the family with lots of yummy food and a egg hunt. From there we went to a second party with my side of the family with more yummy food, a desert competition, and another egg hunt/kite flying/bubble blowing/baseball playing party! It was a wonderful day and this dress was the perfect pick. My feet were not tired by the end, I ate all I wanted (hey, there's no waistband in a dress!), and it was still casually dressy enough for both parties! I hope everyone had a wonderful day with their families! xo
